Good Shepherd Anglican Table Tennis Club
Established in 1967, we are a group of dedicated players who enjoy the fun, fellowship and competition offered by the Combined Churches Table Tennis Association. Our games are played in a friendly and relaxed way: the emphasis is on enjoying our sport while staying healthy and active.
Matches are played around Plympton and Brighton in both the winter competition (May to September) and spring competition (September to early December). They are played from Tuesday to Thursday and you can indicate your preferred nights of play. Both competitions include singles and doubles, with play from 7.30pm to 10.00pm.
Players are of various standards, ranging from beginners to advanced skill levels. We welcome new players of any age from children to seniors.
Fees are typically below $100 to play in both the seasons. There is no uniform or extra expense other than bringing your own bat!
CCTTA conducts an Annual Tournament, usually in July, which is open to all registered players. There is an Annual Presentation Dinner at the end of the winter season, at which Premiership Awards, Consistency Awards and Tournament Trophies are presented.
Whilst we are a church-based club, we are always happy to have people play irrespective of their religious background or beliefs.
Hope to see you soon!
