The Church of the Good Shepherd – a place of Prayer and Worship in the broad and inclusive Anglican tradition.
We use A Prayer Book for Australia to order our worship.
Regular Weekly Services
SUNDAYS
8.00 am Eucharist / Holy Communion: A traditional, quiet, reflective service.
A small gathering of faithful people. There is time and opportunity to discuss and reflect on the readings and life more generally at the time of the sermon and over morning tea each week.
10.00 am Sung Eucharist:
Our main worship service where everyone is welcome, no-one is privileged. We love singing hymns, songs and the Eucharistic setting from a range of Christian traditions. Our unique and beautiful organ is used each week.
Each Sunday we prepare activities and resources suitable for children learning more about the themes explored in the bible readings and sermon. Children can choose to be an active part of the procession and other aspects of the liturgy.
WEDNESDAYS
10.00 Eucharist / Holy Communion: A refreshing mid-week service.
A small, and in some ways quite informal gathering of faithful people. There is time and opportunity to discuss and reflect on the readings and life more generally during the service, at the time of the sermon and over morning tea each week.
On the third Wednesday of each month worship includes Healing Ministry and an invitation to Anointing and Laying on of Hands.
SATURDAYS
